**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- General service duties including greeting and seating guests, taking/relaying/serving food and/or beverage order, answering phone calls and taking carry-out orders
- Ensuring guest satisfaction with follow-up on requests and food or beverage quality
- Mixing alcoholic beverages according to standards
- Prepare coffee beverages to standard recipes or customized for customers including recipe changes such as temperature, quantity of ingredients or substituted ingredients
- Assisting the Kitchen in preparing, plating or garnishing meals
- Stocking supplies and maintaining inventory levels, sanitizing, sweeping/mopping/vacuuming floors, dusting/cleaning furniture and washing dishes
- Handling and reconciling cash/credit/debit/room charge transactions as per the hotel’s policies
- Adhering to industry and Serving it Right standards
- Performs any and all other tasks assigned for the success of the hotel

**QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS**:

- Available to work flexible hours that include evenings, weekends and holidays
- Serving It Right Certification
- Food Safe Certification
- Experience in Bartending and knowledge of mixed drinks
- Ability to work in a fast paced and multi-tasking team environment
- Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions and request clarification when needed
- Positive outlook and great conversational skills
- Previous serving/bartending experience or related experience is considered an asset

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 32 per week
