**Job Summary**
**What is the opportunity?**
The CB Growth Strategy team serves as thought partners to senior executives in Commercial Banking, offering targeted support for the highest priority and most complex strategic problems. The team also acts as a catalyst for platform transformation, cross-platform collaboration, and new capability development, driving Commercial Banking’s growth priorities across the Senior Executive, Operating Committee and Group Head levels. CB offers a dynamic, fast-paced, and exciting environment with unique exposure to a dynamic and fast-growing area of the bank. Working within a high-performance area of the bank, the team provides opportunities for skill development, career advancement, and the chance to work on the bank’s most ambitious initiatives.
**What will you do?**
- Perform comprehensive strategic reviews and analyses leveraging frameworks, approaches, tools and methodologies and develop robust recommendations to support Group Head of CB, CB Operating Committee, and Senior executives within CB
- Ensure growth strategies are well developed, articulated, and aligned across businesses and with enterprise perspective/priorities, and proactively identify benefits such as revenue streams or cost savings opportunities
- Produce materials for CB Senior Executives, Operating Committee, and Group Head of Commercial Banking for review, discussion, and decision
- Gain the position of trusted advisor and help facilitate trade-off / prioritization decisions with senior leaders, strategists, functions, cross-functional project teams and colleagues by providing rigorous strategic insight based on thorough research and analysis
- Lead projects end-to-end exhibiting complete ‘ownership’ of the problem, continuously pushing the thinking, while managing stakeholders, junior team members, timelines, and deliverables
- Mentor and coach Senior Managers and Managers on the team on core strategy skills, professional development, and career management
**What do you need to succeed?**
**Must-have**
- 8+ years of experience in Corporate Strategy, Consulting, Product Management or Capital Markets experience ideally within a Financial Services or FinTech company
- Strong understanding of Commercial Banking business
- Demonstrated ability in project design, management and implementation in a strategy setting and execution context
- Comfortable working in ambiguous situations, scoping out work efforts to bring clarity to outcomes and remaining flexible while delivering high-impact results
- Interpersonal skills and ability to develop strong relationships at every level of the organization, including managing complex stakeholder relationships at various levels of seniority
- Strong written and oral executive presentation skills with presence to build credibility across organization
- Strong technical ability with PowerPoint, Excel, Word and business modelling experience including high-level understanding of Financial Services financial statements

- MBA or graduate/post-graduate or professional designations or equivalent
