**What to expect on the job**:
We’re a fish company You’ll be helping our Production team to make our award winning products. This includes duties such as sawing and feeding the line, packing boxes with product, helping keep the facility clean and tidy, but you’ll also work within our production control process to help accurately track inputs and outputs and measure progress.
Working within a cold storage environment and with quality perishable product means we work quickly as a team member to ensure top quality product is shipped to our customers.
Our team members are working within variable temperature storage environments to receive and pack raw materials. This team is on the move
Your wage to start will be $20.83, $21.99 after 6 months and $23.15 after one year, with additional raises typically coming into effect January 1 of each year.
**Must haves**
- Commitment to Health, Safety and Hygiene practices at all times
- Reliable and committed to quality standards
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excited about work variety, appreciation for variant temperatures, including cold and damp environments (**we provide PPE**)
- Exceptional teamwork and communications skills
- A genuine passion for problem-solving and continuous improvement
**Nice to haves**
- Previous work experience within manufacturing and/or food manufacturing
- Experience with inventory control and systems
- Previous experience within Shipping and Receiving roles
- Experience with Continuous improvement tools such as; 5S, Fishbone Diagrams, 5-Why's, etc is considered an asset
