FAMOUS DAVE'S BAR-B-QUE is hiring an Assistant Manager.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that we always provide the Perfect Guest Experience as per Famous Dave’s Bar-B-Que standards.
- Assist the Management Team in attaining sales, profit and controlling expenses.
- Follow, coach, and enforce company policies and standards.
- Assist in the hiring process, including conducting interviews, onboarding and training as required.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

- Manage the floor while on duty. This includes ensuring all Team Members are providing exceptional service; ensuring all Steps of Service are being followed; and ensuring that all policies and procedures are being followed.
- Table Touches - talking to as many Guests as possible to ensure that their dining experience is to their satisfaction.
- Be proactive at all times by being present to ensure that Guest Satisfaction is great, and areas of opportunities are dealt with prior to becoming a concern.
- Handle Guest concerns with tact and professionalism. Use the L.A.S.T. method - Listen, Apologize, Solve and Thank.
- Assist on the floor, as needed, with hosting, food running, expediating, pre-bussing, bussing and cleaning of tables, cleaning bar glassware and Take Out orders.
- Ongoing observation and coaching of the Team to ensure consistency of Guest service, performance, food quality, and food presentation.

- You fully understand the day-today operations of a Full-Service restaurant.
- You pride yourself on your Guest service skills.
- You are reliable, dependable and a Team Player.
- You are focused and resourceful.
- You can handle stressful moments and are able to remain calm.
- You can create a positive, upbeat atmosphere for your team and Guests at all times.
- You can manage your time effectively and prioritize and complete all duties, responsibilities and projects.

MUST HAVES:

- Minimum recent 3 years Full-Service restaurant experience as a manager.
- Proven Leadership skills.
- Able to lead with Integrity, Humility, Transparency and Resiliency.
- Desire to develop and motivate your Team.
- Energetic, possess a positive attitude and Team mindset.
- Have a personal drive for continuous improvement.
- Excellent communication.
- Available evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Liquor Certification.
- Food Handlers is a bonus.
