Cook

We are currently seeking full time cooks for our Southport location. Morning/ evening shifts available. Weekend availability required.

Job Duties
- Follow cyclical menus and recipes
- Prepare food for the dining facilities including preparation of soups, daily menus, entrees, vegetables, sauces, gravies, etc., and ensures primary preparation for the entrée items are completed for the following day determined by scheduled numbers
- Ensure that all food remains eye-appealing and replenished throughout the service
- Tear down line after service either storing correctly or disposing of product
- Clean line and grill area
- Ensure that correct storage conditions for products such as meats, produce, and dairy are maintained
- Assist chef as required or extra duties as assigned by them.

**Qualifications**:

- 2 years’ experience as a cook in a medium to large kitchen and volume cooking experience required
- Diploma in cooking
- Current Safe Food Handlers Certificate or willingness to get one
- Reliable transportation is a must

**Experience**:

- Cooking: 2 years (preferred)
