**AR and Inventory Analyst**

**Job Type**: Permanent
PSC-Power Source Canada Ltd Milton, ON

Work with Controller and accounting staff to help ensure all accounting functions are compliant with specific accounting, tax, and regulatory filing standards.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Post customer payments by recording cash, checks, EFT and credit card transactions
- Invoicing, mail invoices, statements, and answer customer questions, provide information, process orders and direct invoicing, approve RMA, issue or release credit memo
- Partner with Customer Service, Pricing and Sales teams to investigate and resolve customer issues
- Review and analyze accounts receivable aging, and negotiate, document, and arrange payment schedules and perform collection process initially
- Compile, maintain, and update customers files
- Review pricing on invoices to make sure in compliance with company’s current pricing
- Review inventory bill price vs purchase price on purchase order to ensure correct inventory value and receiving credit memo due to suppliers’ pricing errors
- Review inbound shipment stock overage and shortage to make sure to receive credit memo and debit memo
- Reconcile actual stock count to computer-generated reports.
- Perform monthly reconciliation of accounting receivable, accrued purchase, and inventory ledger accounts
- Prepare various ad hoc projects and assist in annual audit and annual report
- Assist in development and documentation of accounting policies and procedures to maintain and strengthen internal controls
- Perform all other duties as assigned

**Skills & Requirements**
- Proven accounting experience
- Competency in MS Office, databases and accounting software
- Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and word processing skills
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skill

**Education**
- College diploma or bachelor diploma in Accounting, Business, or equivalent
- Working toward completion of a professional designation (CPA, CA, CMA or CGA) as an asset

**Experience**

5 years and over of relevant accounting experience

**Compensation**

Salary plus discretionary bonus and group benefit

**Salary**: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
