The Co-op Student is responsible for assisting with the organization of labels, inventory, and machine documentation. In this role, you will
- Assist with the organization and maintenance of our inventory system, ensuring accurate records and timely updates.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize inventory storage and organization for easy access and retrieval.
- Develop and implement a consistent labeling system for all inventory items, ensuring clear and legible labels for easy identification.
- Review, update, and maintain machine documentation, including operation manuals, and safety guidelines.
- Assist with the creation and implementation of a standardized document management system for machine documentation.
- Coordinate with team members to ensure accurate and timely communication regarding inventory levels, machine status, and documentation updates.
- Perform regular audits to identify discrepancies and make necessary adjustments.
- Assist with the planning and execution of inventory-related projects, reorganization, or disposal of obsolete items.
- Participate in team meetings, providing input and suggestions for process improvements.
- Adhere to all company policies, safety regulations, and best practices.

**Who we're looking for?**
- You are currently enrolled in a relevant post-secondary program, such as Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- You have strong organizational and time-management skills with a keen attention to detail.
- You possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- You are proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and experience with inventory management software is a plus.
- You can work independently and in a team environment, with a proactive and problem-solving attitude.
- You have demonstrated the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies is an asset.
