Information & Technology Services (ITS) is a dynamic and innovative department dedicated to providing top-notch products and services to NAIT business units. As a Business Analyst, you will have the opportunity to immerse yourself in a collaborative and fast-paced environment and help us elevate our Salesforce operations to new heights. Your expertise will help actively shape NAIT’s technology landscape and facilitate the success of our students, staff, and industry partners.
In partnership with the Salesforce Program team, you will liaise with diverse business units and ITS, skillfully translating business objectives and key results into comprehensive conceptual designs, all while championing top-tier project management and business analysis practices.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Engage with stakeholders to document current state, gather business requirements, and write user stories.
- Develop process maps, data models, and wireframes to represent processes and systems.
- Facilitate the implementation of customizations and integrations.
- Provide quality analysis to validate that solutions meet expected outcomes.
- Assist users with training, answer queries, and provide post-implementation support to ensure smooth adoption of new processes and technology.
- Maintain documentation of system configuration, design decisions, and business processes.
- Evaluate the costs and benefits of suggested solutions and provide recommendations.
- Monitor Salesforce updates and industry-leading practices to proactively suggest potential improvements.

**Skills & Abilities**
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to understand complex problems, extract essential details, and develop practical solutions.
- Proficient in the use of analysis and visualization tools.
- Knowledge of student information systems, Salesforce, ERP’s, or other enterprise platforms.
- Knowledge of technology system interfaces, data integration, and operating systems.
- Able to work independently as well as collaboratively with business and technical teams on multiple concurrent activities.
**Qualifications**
- Degree of diploma in Business, IT, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a business analyst, with at least 1 year specializing in Salesforce.
- Salesforce Administrator certification is preferred.
- Knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
- Experience with student information systems and the software development life cycle (SDLC) is an asset.
- Prior experience in a post-secondary educational institution is a plus.
- Business Analyst certification is an asset.
**Remuneration**:$71,541.60 to $104,153.14 annually, plus a comprehensive benefits package.
