**Summary**:
Equinox Engineering is seeking an **Intermediate Project Controls Resource Analyst**to support effective resource planning and project staffing. Responsibilities include supporting the development, management and maintenance of resource planning tools and related reporting, as well as project controls functions support.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop, maintain, and update project resource management plans using complex Microsoft Excel tools.
- Collaborate with account managers, project managers, discipline managers, and team members to understand resource requirements and availability.
- Provide regular resource staffing status updates and reports to project stakeholders.
- Support in the implementation of processes and tools to improve resource management efficiency and transparency.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
- Involved in ad-hoc Project Controls tasks as required.

**Skills, Knowledge and Expertise**:

- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in engineering, project management or business.
- 4+ years of experience in project resource management, preferably in a multi-project environment
- 3 - 5 years of experience in project controls and scheduling in oil & gas or mining.
- **Must have an advanced level in Microsoft Excel** (i.e. comfortable with building and maintaining sheets with complex formulas, pivot tables, graphs and data analysis tools).
- Strong understanding of resource management principles, best practices, and tools.
- Experience in creating and maintaining scheduling software (Primavera P6 and MS Project) and cost management tools, **is a plus**.
- Experience working with Power BI or similar Business Intelligence (BI) tools.
- Experience with database setup and management, **is a plus**.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Strong knowledge of project management principles, cost control processes, and budgeting.
