JWK Utilities & Site Services Ltd. is a commercial electrical contractor that has worked in the Ottawa area for the past 18 years. We offer competitive wages, RRSP Matching, and a health benefit plan.

JWK primarily works within the City of Ottawa and the surrounding areas with our head office in Carp, ON.

JWK Utilities is looking to hire a full-time electrical estimator to work with our team.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

- Review and prepare estimates for small and mid sized commercial projects.
- Communicate with contractors, subcontractors, suppliers and specific manufactures.
- Proficient at take-offs of electrical drawings.
- Submit accurate bids in a timely manner.
- Follow up on bids and areas to improve for future bids.
- Review of estimate with Project Manager and Foreman.

Qualification:

- Ability to read and understand construction drawings.
- Strong communication skills.
- Organized and attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize job tasks in a fast-past environment.
- Ability to work independently and with others.
- Experience with Trimble Accubid / Change Order program is an asset.
- Trade Certificate or Electrical Engineering background is an asset.
- Reliability / Secret Security clearance is an asset.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $25.00-$40.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
