The Cummings Centre is looking for an Audio-Visual Support Technician who will be responsible for identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving, technical issues with Audio/Visual (A/V), video-conferencing equipment. They will provide technical support and training to end-users, as well as install, test, maintain and troubleshoot a wide range of A/V components and equipment for our online and simultaneous-hybrid programs. They will assist in the setup and monitoring of programs and live events to ensure consistency and quality of content being delivered.

**Duties**
- Troubleshoot, and maintain A/V and Video software and equipment.
- Familiar with a variety of current A/V concepts, practices, and procedures
- Identifies, researches, and resolves technical problems.
- Documents, tracks, and monitors problems to ensure a timely resolution using a support ticket system.
- Documents, maintains, upgrades, or replaces hardware and software.
- Play a role in finding A/V solutions as needs change.
- Monitors Program and Live Events to ensure quality.
- Provides support to Program Managers to assess the scope and technical requirement for programs and events.
- Provides staff training for use of Audio/Video software and equipment.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Some evening hours required.
- 1-3 Years Experience

**Education, Knowledge and Skills**
- Experience in Open Broadcaster Software (OBS) or similar is an asset.
- DEC in related field required.
