**Responsibilities**
- performs site surveys to collect, analyze, and organize basic engineering data,**pole survey and measurement of various attachment heights, span distances, angles, etc...** to assist the engineering team in developing design layouts and preparing all engineering documentation required for a completely functional design.
- collects aerial and topographical field data for pole line engineering.
- able to read and interpret municipal engineering drawings to identify missing data required for a field survey.
- prepares layouts and detail drawings with complex assemblies from notes, verbal instructions, and rough or detailed sketches.
- adheres to all health and safety guidelines.
- captures all measurements requested.
- perform all other duties as assigned in order to meet company objectives.

**Requirements**:

- must have a valid driver’s license.
- must be willing to travel when required.
- ability to work in any and all weather conditions
- Full understanding of topographical survey requirements
- Knowledge of telecommunications outside plant infrastructure
- demonstrated professional oral and written communication skills
- ability to plan and organize to meet scheduled deadlines
- able to work in a team atmosphere
- Previous experience in a surveyor's role is an asset.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD is an asset.
- Experience with **IKE pole survey equipment** and software would be an asset.
- A college diploma or higher in a relevant field is greatly preferred

Pay: $25.00-$31.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
