We pride ourselves on a keen work ethic, and more importantly the talent and skills of our people. Currently we are seeking an experienced Concrete Finisher/Lead Hand to join our growing team.

**Qualifications**:

- Proficient in string line set up, determining grade change and identifying discrepancies
- Ability to read and understand blueprint designs to determine proper location of concrete curb, sidewalks and slabs.
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating dimensions, slopes and grade
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce precise and accurate work
- Excellent, problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Willingness to work flexible hours, weekends and overtime as required
- Ability to finish concrete smoothly and to specific grades based on contractors specifications.
- Experience in concrete related power tools and hand tools, ie: Concrete power screed, bull float, groovers, edgers, concrete vibrators, skill saw etc.
- Valid “G” Drivers license

**Responsibilities**:

- Ability to read blueprints and drawings to identify location of grade and slope
- Set up string line according to surveyor layout information for sidewalk and hand curb.
- Hand form using appropriate materials i.e: steel forms, lumber, pickets pins, etc.
- Check, formwork, granular base and steel reinforcement materials, direct placement of concrete into forms or onto surfaces according to grade and specified locations
- Ensure proper concrete mix and consistency is kept and maintained during the pour
- Assist with pouring and finishing concrete
- Follow all safety regulations and guidelines on the job site
- Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and contractors
- Ensure all work in progress is done safely and follows all safety regulations and guidelines under the OHSA.

**Wage**:
$25-$30 Per Hour, To be negotiated

Avg 45-55 hrs per week

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Seasonal

**Salary**: $25.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 45 - 55 per week
