**What is the Role?**

The _**Mobile AC/Heater Technician **_role is based out of our Edmonton, Alberta Shop and reports directly to the Service Manager. As a Mobile AC/Heater Technician, you will service, repair and install Air Conditioning and coolant/space heaters such as Webasto, Proheat and RedDot systems. You will work off site providing and performing technical tasks to aid in the assembly, installation, operation, maintenance and repair of cooling/heating systems, components and mechanical equipment to our remote customers.

**Responsibilities of this position include**:

- The Mobile AC/Heater Technician will maintain and repair trailer AC/Heater units
- Main duties will be to troubleshoot, diagnosis, and repair components on units
- Conduct quality preventative maintenance responsibilities
- Ensure work is completed to standard
- Other shop related duties as assigned

**Required Education, Skills and Qualifications**
- Journeyman Heavy Duty Equipment, Agriculture and/or Automotive Technician with adequate knowledge of Highway trucks and off-road equipment or equivalent work experience
- Valid Drivers License
- Able to work independently with a minimum of supervision
- Education/Training with a recognized Post-Secondary Trade Institution
- Work effectively as both a team player and an individual contributor
- Excellent communication skills; listening, written and oral
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- Proficiency with all tools of the trade
- Technical aptitude

**Work Environment**:

- 60% mobile, working out of a service truck
- 40% shop
- 4-6 weeks out of town work per year
