STG Fleet Services, a member of Siemens Transportation Group Inc., requires a Trailer Technician at their Edmonton, AB location.

Rotating shift: 7:00 am - 5:30pm

**Responsibilities**:

- Must be able to perform thorough safety inspections
- Major and minor equipment repairs on reefers and heaters
- Installations
- Maintenance and upgrades to Company equipment - tractor and trailer
- Repairing and maintenance on large fleet of Semi-Tractors
- Problem Solving and Diagnosis of vehicle performance issues
- Work on a diverse fleet of equipment to ensure superior quality standards
- Maintain a clean work area

**Qualifications**:

- Apprentice or Certified Mechanic
- Class 5
- Journeyman - Red Seal - Preferred
- Reefer and Heater experience with Thermo and Carrier - preferred
- Experience in the trailer trade
- Experience in the heavy truck and transportation industry - preferred
- Experience working with heaters and reefers
- CVIP Certification - Preferred
- Must have own tools
- Basic Acetylene Torch knowledge (preferred)
- Knowledge of transportation certification standards
- Welding capabilities (preferred)
- Capable of using diagnostic tools
