**About Us**
BjornBar Bakery is a boutique-style bakery known for its elevated nostalgic baking—bringing a refined touch to classic, home-style desserts. With over 30 flavours of dessert bars, as well as scones, cookies, pastries, and more, everything we make is crafted from scratch with real ingredients and a whole lot of love.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Produce and bake consistent, high-quality scones, cookies, bars, and pastries
- Execute daily pastry prep according to established recipes and production plans
- Portion, shape, and finish baked goods with precision and consistency
- Package products for display and preorder fulfillment
- Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized workspace at all times
- Follow all food safety and workplace safety guidelines
- Work efficiently while upholding quality standards
- Assist with inventory rotation and communicate ingredient needs when necessary
**What We’re Looking For**
- 1-2 years of professional baking or pastry experience in a commercial kitchen
- Strong skills in scone, cookie, and pastry production with an eye for detail
- Solid understanding of food safety and sanitation
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Flexible availability, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays
- A passion for scratch baking and a love of buttery, nostalgic treats
