THE TEAM
The mission of the Store Operations Department is to uphold the daily standards of operational excellence in our stores while diagnosing and resolving opportunities for continuous advancement.
THE OPPORTUNITY
Aritzia is experiencing exponential growth, and we need a leader to champion the core fundamentals and drive streamlined operations across a complex and growing network of stores and cafes. As the leader of the Retail Operations Department, you will lead and motivate the team responsible for upholding the standards of operational excellence across our retail stores. As the Head of Retail Operations, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of the Retail business through identifying, solving, and influencing action against opportunities to drive sales and maximize profits in our boutiques. THE ROLE
As the Head of Retail Operations you will lead the team to:
- Uphold the daily standards of operational excellence across our entire network of stores and cafes
- Identify, influence and drive action towards operational advancement and business scalability
- Be the front-end, single point of contact identifying and advocating for new infrastructure, and supporting new store openings and events
- Identify, solve, and galvanize action around sales driving or profit maximizing opportunities
- Mitigate the effects of unforeseen events on the business to return to standard operations expediently
- Work with the appropriate Business Support partners to seamlessly lead the day-to-day function of the department in support of corporate objectives, while enabling progressive career development and an incredible employee experience
THE QUALIFICATIONS
The Head of Retail Operations has:
- Significant executive-level experience in high volume or luxury Retail or Hospitality
- Proven and best-in-class skills, education, and/or applicable certifications in Retail or other relevant Business Management
- A commitment to learn, apply, champion, and enrich Aritzia's Values, Business and People Leadership principles
- The skills to collaborate strategically with cross-functional partners in the pursuit of shared business outcomes
- The ability to set clear objectives and design a strategy that inspires the team
- A dedication to quality and investing in results and new business opportunities that add value at all times
