**Job Summary**:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Assurance Technician/ ISO Coordinator to join our team in Hamilton, Ontario.

This role reports to the Quality Manager and /or President and requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

**Responsibilities**:
Quality Management System
- Support the Quality Manager to sustain and improve the Quality Management System in compliance with ISO 9001:2015, customer and regulatory requirements;
- Conduct audits, including closing out audit findings, creating audits finding reports and determine proper corrective and preventive actions;
- Create and maintain company quality documentation, such as quality manuals, quality procedures;
- Issue NCR’s for non-compliant product;
- Analyze failure, corrective and preventive action to respond to customer complaints;
- Facilitate root cause analysis and implementation of associated corrective actions;
- Analyze existing processes to identify improvement opportunities;
- Review potential suppliers’ quality system information as part of the new supplier approval;
- Report on quality performance (CAR’s status, Supplier Performance, NCR trends etc.);
- Maintain and execute the calibration program as per applicable standards and procedures;
- Facilitate inspections and audits by external inspectors from regulatory organizations, customers and auditors;
Inspection and testing
- Completing and approval of First off, in-process inspection and testing;
- Perform and generate inspection and test experiment reports, certificates of compliance and inspection test plans;
- Support the Lead Hands/ Supervisors/Operators to ensure that products and processes comply with the relevant requirements of the quality management system;
- Other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum College Diploma (2 or 3 years) in Quality or Mechanical field;
- A minimum of 5 years experience in a quality role in a manufacturing environment, injection molding preffered;
- ISO 9001:2015 Internal Auditor certification preferable;
- Knowledge of quality systems requirements, desired experience in the implementation of IS0 9001:2015 and GMP;
- Good understanding of Control Plan, Flow Chart, problem solving tools such as 8D’s, 5 Why’s, Fish bone diagram and Process mapping;
- Extensive experience with Root Cause identification and Corrective Action implementation;
- Thorough knowledge of quality inspection, measuring and testing equipment;
- Utilization of technical writing skills (i.e. Corrective action reports, Procedures, Quality Manual;
- Computer literate (Microsoft Office);
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- The job requires flexible working hours

This is a full-time position with competitive compensation including an annual performance bonus, a bi-annual bonus in lieu of medical beneits, paid time off, and professional development opportunities.
