**Overnight Cleaner**

**Domus Building Cleaning Ltd. **is looking for a qualified **Cleaner** for an immediate need at a location within **Ottawa Centre** that requires higher level government clearance. Domus has been in operation for over 40 years with more than 500 employees in multiple provinces and has relationships with some of the largest real estate and government clients in the country.

**Competitive Wage Rate: $17.15/ Hour**

**MANDATORY REQUIREMENT: MUST **HAVE GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AND **‘Royal Canadian Mint SITE SPECIFIC’ **CLEARANCE, OR MUST BE ABLE TO OBTAIN CLEARANCE LEVELS.

**Main Responsibilities**:

- Clean assigned areas by sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and waxing floor surfaces in
assigned areas by use of mechanized cleaning equipment wherever required.
- Collect and dispose trash in garbage containers on a regular basis.
- Spot clean walls, ceilings, partitions, light switches and doors, window sills.
- Wipe and sanitize all public utilities such as public phones, furniture, and door handles.
- Cleaning the washroom, sanitizing, mopping, and restocking of supplies.
- Follow pre-set policies, guidelines, and rules to maintain a safe working environment.
- Able to maintain Domus standards of cleaning.
- Other responsibilities as needed.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Must be reliable
- Previous cleaning experience considered an asset

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $17.15 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Night shift

COVID-19 considerations:
Current vaccine mandate in Effect. Must be able to show proof of vaccination upon request.
Current face mask mandate. Mask must be worn on the premises.

- Ottawa, ON K1A 0G8: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
