**Cleaner/Janitor Needed**
**Domus Building Cleaning Ltd. **is looking for qualified **Heavy-Duty Cleaners** for positions located within the **Kanata **Area**. Domus has been in operation for over 50 years with more than 500 employees in multiple provinces and has an excellent reputation as a janitorial services provider.
**Competitive Wage Rate of $17.20 per hour to start.**
**Benefits possibly include (depending on location)**:

**These positions are both Full-Time and Part-Time, Monday to Friday at various shift schedules.**
**Security checks of various types may be required.**
**Main Responsibilities**:
- Must be knowledgeable in floor scrubbing and burnish floors
- Clean assigned areas by sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and waxing floor surfaces in assigned areas by use of mechanized cleaning equipment wherever required
- Collect and dispose of trash in garbage containers on a regular basis
- Operate carpet machines of various types
- Spot clean walls, ceilings, partitions, light switches and doors, window sills
- Wipe and sanitize all public utilities such as public phones, furniture, and door handles
- Food Court experience or post construction cleanup a plus
- Cleaning the washroom, sanitizing, mopping, and restocking of supplies
- Follow pre-set policies, guidelines, and rules to maintain a safe working environment
- Other duties and responsibilities as required
