**Responsibilities**:

- Recruiting and development of a superior workforce
- Organizational department planning and development
- Performance and improvement systems
- Employment and compliance with regulatory concerns regarding employees
- Employee onboarding, development, needs assessment and training
- Policy development and documentation
- Employee health and safety
- Employee services and counseling
- Assist and advise company managers about Human Resources issues
- Development of an employee-oriented company culture that emphasizes quality, continuous improvement and employee retention
- Benefits administration
- Other responsibilities as assigned by the CEO

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Human Resources
- 2 plus years of progressive leadership experience in HR / Recruiting
- Specialized training in recruiting, compensation, organizational planning and development, employee relations, employment law, safety training, and labor relations
- Better than average written and spoken communication skills
- Outstanding interpersonal relationship building and employee coaching skills
- Demonstrated ability to serve as a knowledgeable resource to the management team
- Excellent computer skills
- General knowledge of various employment laws and practices and experience working with a corporate employment law attorney is considered an asset.
- Experience in the administration of benefits and compensation programs and other Human Resources recognition and engagement programs / processes.
- Desire to be a part of a winning team.

**Salary**: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
