**About the Opportunity**:
Reporting to the Director of Performance and Analytics, the Manager of Clinical Analytics holds provincial responsibility for overseeing, coordinating, and monitoring key corporate programs and services. These include Organizational Performance Measurement, Performance Improvement, and Clinical Performance Measurement, encompassing the Nova Scotia Health Stroke and Cardiac Registry as well as the Diabetes Registry.
- Leads the operational planning, design, implementation and management of analytical solutions, projects and services across NSH, and its key stakeholders.
- Supports attaining the goals and objectives of NSH by leading the:

- optimization of access to, and use of, data and analytics to inform health service planning, clinical performance measurement, research activities and quality improvement.
- enable evidence-based, data driven decision making and knowledge translation.
- implementation of a comprehensive, collaborative and effective oversight structure for data and analytics.
- development and implementation of a plan to increase organizational data literacy; and
- enhancement of data integrity and reliability to improve confidence in, and use of, data.

**About You**:
We would love to hear from you if you have the following:

- Master's Degree in health related discipline, Business Administration, Informatics or another relevant field required
- Minimum of 5 years Healthcare Analytics experience
- Demonstrated knowledge of health care delivery systems in various hospital and community settings
- Experience engaging, mentoring and empowering teams and stakeholders in a collaborative, participatory manner to respond to the mission, vision, goals and objectives of integrated organizations and developing programs and standards to support the vision, goals and objectives of a healthcare organization
- Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
- Excellent organizational, analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills
- Experience utilizing technology to create efficiencies and streamline tracking, retrieval and distribution of information
- Strong knowledge of health care issues
- Demonstrated ability to translate performance and analytical details into operational opportunities
- Ability to provide thoughtful leadership to shape future decisions
- Adapts to changing objectives and priorities
- Experience in working with patient care leaders
- Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred
