**Skid-Steer Operator - Snow Removal**
Hines Facilities Services Ltd. is hiring snow removal laborers and operators for the upcoming snow season.
**Job Summary**
Make a difference this winter by helping keep our roads and facilities safe and clear. We are looking for experienced operators to work with bobcats, plow trucks, and sweepers for snow removal.
**As a Skid-Steer Operator, you will**:
- **Operate snow removal equipment** such as skid-steers, plow trucks, loaders, and sweepers to clear snow from parking lots, roads, walkways, and other designated areas
- **Perform routine maintenance and safety checks** on all snow removal equipment before and after shifts to ensure proper functioning
- **Assist in manual snow removal**, including shoveling snow from areas that equipment cannot reach, when necessary
- **Work outdoors in all weather conditions**, including snowstorms, freezing temperatures, and high winds
- **Coordinate with team members** to complete tasks efficiently and safely
- **Monitor weather conditions** and respond quickly to snowfalls and icy conditions
- **Be on-call** for sudden weather events, with shifts typically running between 2am-10am or 10pm-8am
- **Complete long shifts** of up to 12 hours when required during heavy snowfalls or major snow events
**Job Requirements**:
- **Valid Driver's License** is required
- **Physical stamina** to shovel snow and perform outdoor labor for extended periods
- Previous experience operating a bobcat, plow truck, or similar equipment
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including nights, early mornings, and weekends
- Ability to handle outdoor work in harsh weather conditions
- Must be available to work on-call for snow removal during weather events
**Pay**: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour, depending on experience
**Job Type**: Fixed-term contract (6 months)
