Skid Steer Operator

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Skid Steer Operator to join our construction team specializing in Gypsum Floor Underlayment. As a crucial member of our workforce, you will be responsible for operating a skid steer loader to assist in various stages of the underlayment installation process.
**Responsibilities**:
- **Equipment Operation**: Operate a skid steer loader to transport materials, equipment, and tools around the job site.
- **Material Handling**: Assist with the loading and unloading of materials such as gypsum underlayment mix, aggregate, and other construction supplies. Transport materials to different areas of the site as directed.
- **Site Preparation**: Work closely with the construction team to prepare the work area for underlayment installation.
- **Safety Compliance**: Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while operating the skid steer loader. Conduct routine equipment inspections and report any maintenance issues or safety concerns to the supervisor.
- **Team Collaboration**: Communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues to coordinate tasks and workflow. Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure efficient project completion.
- **Cleanup and Maintenance**: Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the work site throughout the project. Perform basic maintenance tasks on the skid steer loader as needed.
**Requirements**:
- **Skid Steer Operation Experience**: Proven experience operating a skid steer loader in a construction or similar environment is required.
- **Technical Skills**: Ability to operate the skid steer loader safely and efficiently, including proficiency in maneuvering the equipment in tight spaces and varying terrain.
- **Safety Conscious**: Strong commitment to safety practices and procedures. Knowledge of basic safety protocols related to equipment operation and construction activities.
- **Physical Stamina**: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including sitting for extended periods, operating controls, and performing routine maintenance on the equipment.
- **Team Player**: Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to assist with various tasks as needed.
- **Reliability**: Punctuality and dependability are essential. Must be able to fulfill assigned duties and work scheduled hours consistently.
- **Valid Driver's License**: A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is preferred.
Pay: $22.50-$27.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
