To boost our growth, we are looking for **R&D (Research and Development) Technician** who can contribute in the following activities.

**Job description**:

- Working with the production team to conduct plant trial
- Maintaining accurate and organized records of R&D and trial activities.
- Assisting and leading product development projects from concept through to commercialization.
- Perform R&D and scale up of solid doses form (Tablet, Capsules, Softgels) and powder form of products.
- Collection, compilation, and submission of R&D, marketing and other government grants as applicable to our business model.
- Assists QC and QA team as required. Reports to Manager on a weekly basis or more frequently as required.
- Filling R&D subsidy claims as required by government organizations. Participate in weekly meetings.
- Performs other functions as required or assigned and obey all company policies and standards.

**Minimum Requirements**:

- At least Bachelor’s degree/ diploma in Food Science, Nutrition or related discipline.
- Minimum 1 - 3 years hands on experience in product development and formulation of nutraceutical or pharmaceutical products.
- Strong knowledge with Natural Health Product ingredients and Health Canada NHPD regulations.
- Knowledge of the Canadian Food Safety Systems, SOP's, GMP's, HACCP, MSDS.
- Effective and professional verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytic, problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Ability to successfully multi-task, prioritize workload, and achieve deadlines.
- Self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude
