Part Time Support Worker: 12-15 hours/2 weeks

Starting rate of Pay: $24.40/hr
Anticipated Start Date: immediately

Community Living St. Marys and Area is seeking a community minded person to support two people, who are new to the area, to help them explore and make connections in their community.

They are seeking someone who is a community connector, who is familiar with the St. Marys area and what it has to offer.

In addition to community connections, they are looking for someone who can provide in-home support to assist them in their everyday life.

You are someone who has strong communication skills, strong organizational skills and can be flexible with your schedule.

The hours of work are 12-15 hours per 2 weeks and will include various hours of the day, including some weekends. Hours are flexible based on the needs of the person receiving support.

**You Have**
- Minimum Gr. 12 or high school equivalent, with preference given to those with DSW or other applicable post-secondary education (CYW, SSW, EA)*
- A clean Vulnerable Sector Record**:

- A belief that all people can be participating citizens of their community
- A respect for all to make informed choices
- An ability and desire to work a variety of shift times (evenings, weekends, holidays)
- A current, valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle
- Strong communication skills, strong organizational skills, and can be flexible with your schedule, ability to multitask
- Preference given to those who are familiar with the St.Marys area and what it has to offer (groups, social clubs, events, volunteerism, etc)
- Preference given to those who have a passion for the arts, who have a creative mind and way of thinking, and with experience helping people to live a fulfilling life.
