**Job Overview**:
We are seeking a driven, creative, and skilled **Landscape Crew Lead** to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with strong landscaping experience who also excels in problem-solving and thinking outside the box. The Crew Lead will manage a team of 1-2 crew members, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within scope, and to the highest standards. **Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead and oversee hardscaping and softscaping projects, including patios, steps, retaining walls, tree planting, sod installation, and regrading.
- Manage and supervise a crew of 1-2 employees, ensuring productivity and quality standards are met.
- Set a strong example in work ethic, safety, and efficiency.
- Think critically and creatively to solve problems and improve processes when unexpected challenges arise.
- Bring fresh ideas to projects—we encourage innovation and efficiency.
- Communicate professionally with clients to ensure satisfaction and address on-site questions or concerns.
- Coordinate daily project tasks, including material pickups, site preparation, and equipment setup.
- Safely operate light machinery such as stand-on Bobcats, mini excavators, and various power tools (cut saws, concrete saws, angle grinders, etc.).
- Ensure proper site preparation for patios, retaining walls, and other installations, following best practices for base compaction and drainage.
- Drive a truck and trailer daily to transport materials, equipment, and disposal loads.
- Maintain clean and organized work vehicles, tools, and job sites.
- Report directly to the Operations Manager with project updates and crew performance feedback.

**Qualifications & Skills**:

- Minimum **2 years of experience** in landscaping, hardscaping, or softscaping.
- Experience operating machinery (Bobcats, mini excavators, plate compactors, etc.).
- Ability to confidently drive a truck and trailer.
- Strong understanding of landscaping materials and brands.
- Skilled in using power tools such as cut saws, concrete saws, and angle grinders.
- Knowledge of proper base preparation for patios and retaining walls.
- Ability to manage a small team and delegate tasks effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving skills—must be able to think quickly and adapt to challenges.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to high-quality work.

**Requirements**:

- **Valid Ontario G driver’s license** with a clean driving record (required).
- Ability to work in a physically demanding outdoor environment (lifting, bending, digging, etc.).
- Strong work ethic and reliability—must show up on time, ready to work.

Pay: $28.00-$32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 50 per week
