**Job Summary**:
The Horizontal Directional Driller reports to a Director, Operations to assist in the installation of electrical and underground utilities through the use and maintenance of a Horizontal Directional Drill. Majority of the work takes place in outdoor environments, and work environment will consist to 8-10 hours a day six day a week.

**Duties**:

- Maintenance and operation of the directional drill
- Locating for the Directional Drill
- Install shallow utilities cable
- Digging and backfilling trenches.
- Operating small equipment and hand tools.
- Spotting for vehicles and equipment.
- Site setup and cleanup.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Requirements**:

- Firm understanding of underground locates.
- Mechanically inclined.
- Experience working with shallow utility installation is an asset.
- Class 3 driver’s license and own vehicle.
- Outdoor construction experience.
- Willing to learn.
