**Job Title**: Quality Assurance Analyst (14-Month Term)
**Location**: G3 Head Office
Reporting to the Director, Architecture and Development, the Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst will leverage their business acumen and understanding of software testing methodologies to deliver value to G3. Taking a hands-on approach, the QA Analyst champions quality across all stages of the project lifecycle.
Working in a fast-paced environment, the QA Analyst must be able interact with all levels of G3 staff and collaborate with multiple agile project teams to test and implement robust functional features.
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Partner with Product Owners and agile team members to understand functional and technical requirements and determine testing strategy.
- Actively participate in agile teams to ensure that quality assurance is represented and reflected in daily activities.
- Define and champion the usage of best practices for unit, system, integration, user acceptance, regression, smoke, and load performance testing.
- Coordinate and lead agile team members in executing project testing activities.
- Assist agile teams in the creation of acceptance criteria for user stories.
- Lead the adoption of Azure DevOps for managing Test Plans and the Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD) of software.
- Support the investigation if reported issue and triage bugs with Product Owners and agile teams.
- Identify components that could benefit from automated testing and lead the scripting / configuration of the automated test.
- Manage the capture and storage of evergreen test scripts.
- Train and coach agile team members on quality assurance best practices and processes.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
**PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE**:
Education/ Training
- University degree or diploma in Computer Science/MIS/Engineering/Agriculture or related field is preferred.
Experience
- 2+ years working in a Quality Assurance role
- Experience working in an agile software development environment
- Basic understanding of Application Programming Interface (API) endpoints and testing
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience working in the agriculture / grain industry would be a strong asset
- Knowledge of ServiceNow would be beneficial
