Supports regular audits/review activity of part quality and process. - 2. *Ensures perpetual compliance to documented quality system documentation. - 3. *Provides leadership to subordinates and manufacturing support functions enabling them to provide sound, confident judgement for part quality related enquiries within the plant. - 4. *Directs and coordinates the activities of team engagement in quality functions - including part inspection, containment process, certification, analysis and training of Team Members. - 5. Inform Supervisor/Group Leader when attention or discipline is needed regarding policy and procedure. - 6. Ensure the inspection areas (tables) are in good working order/condition for Team Members before the start of inspection (no left over parts, unfilled documentation, left over carts, etc.). - 7. Ensure all documentation (Inspection Reports, IIS, STIS, Containment Tags, etc.) are in use as required and are correctly filled on a daily basis. - 8. Conduct periodic checks to ensure the inspection criteria’s are being followed as specified on the inspection documents (IIS, STIS, etc.). - 9. Maintain 5S and ensure all team members are participating with 5S within the department every day at the end of each shift. - 10. Conducts Team Member job counselling as needed. - 11. Ensures and promotes team work within department. - 12. Contributes to kaizen suggestions and encourages and supports T/M’s to attain and maintain inspection accuracy and GSPH targets. - 13.
