**The Opportunity**:
Wayfinder is currently in search of a **Frac Sand Logistics Planner** tasked with overseeing the transportation and logistics operations related to fracturing proppants. In this role, close collaboration with clients and vendors is essential to fulfill their needs and provide outstanding service.

Key responsibilities encompass the coordination and management of all trucking and logistics facets, ensuring daily seamless communication with all relevant parties. This position also involves conducting meetings with clients and key sand supply personnel, forecasting demand, and reconciling inventory to optimize operational efficiency.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Coordinating and overseeing the trucking and logistics activities related to proppants
- Maintain clear communication with on-site dispatch, transload, and production teams
- Lead daily meetings with clients and vendors to stay informed and address challenges
- Proactively forecast demand and accurately reconcile inventory for resource planning
- Collaborate with onsite personnel to plan and ensure that production aligns seamlessly with onsite requirements for sand supply
- Scrutinizing, reconciling, and approving vendor invoices, issuing purchase orders etc.
- Conducting daily monitoring of plant performance to uphold operational excellence
- Analyze and interpret diverse sets of data / information, then provide recommendations, or make informed decisions in the moment and act accordingly
- Addressing and troubleshooting any issues that arise as required

**Experience**:

- Frac Operations: 1 year (preferred)
- relevant Frac Sand, Processing Facilities / Plant, Transload: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Degree or Technical Diploma in Oil and Gas (preferred)
