**Forklift Operator**

**Key Responsibilities**
- Supports the production facility through collecting, loading, shipping, and receiving warehouse products
- Operates equipment including forklifts and/or other hand trucks
- Inspects and performs maintenance of forklifts and other material handling equipment
- Provides support for both Packaging and Brewing departments, and ensures all production materials required are readily available
- Stages orders to be shipped, consolidates pallets for outgoing goods, and performs cycle counts, as required
- Performs frequent quality checks in order to identify any damaged pallets, goods, or materials going in or out of the brewery
- Organizes material handling area, including incoming or outgoing materials
- Adheres to all quality and customer service standards set forth by the company
- Adheres to all health & safety standards, and helps to identify any safety hazards
- Performs daily cleaning/housekeeping duties
- Counterbalance Forklift License
- 2+ years of experience operating Counterbalance Forklifts
- Ability to lift up to 50lb
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekend hours, and overtime hours when required
- Strong mathematics skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a positive attitude
- Strong attention to detail, and an ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
- Ability to work efficiently and maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Working knowledge and understanding of OHSA regulations is an asset
