Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Forklift Operator. The Forklift Operator will be responsible for tasks such as forklift operation to move, stack, and stage materials safely and efficiently. Day-to-day responsibilities include shipping and receiving goods, unloading inbound shipments, managing material handling, and packing finished goods for delivery. Adherence to safety protocols and maintaining accurate inventory records are integral parts of this role.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Forklift Operation, including loading, unloading, and maneuvering within confined spaces
  • Experience with Shipping & Receiving processes, including verifying deliveries and inspecting items
  • Skills in Material Handling and Unloading of goods in a safe and efficient manner
  • Knowledge of Packing methods to ensure safe transit of items
  • Strong attention to safety practices and a commitment to workplace safety
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks
  • High school diploma or equivalent; forklift certification is a plus
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to follow detailed instructions
