**GENERAL SUMMARY**:
As a Food & Beverage Supervisor at AC Hotels by Marriott, you will assist in overseeing the daily operations of the hotel’s food and beverage services, ensuring a seamless and sophisticated guest experience that aligns with AC Hotels' modern, European-inspired hospitality. You will support and guide the F&B team, maintain service excellence, and uphold brand standards across all F&B outlets, including the restaurant, bar, in-room dining, banquets and events.
**CANDIDATE PROFILE**:
**Education and Experience**
- High school graduation or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in food and beverage service, preferably in a hotel or upscale dining environment.
- Strong understanding of restaurant and bar operations, including serving techniques and beverage service.
- Commitment to high cleanliness and service standards.
- Ability to work independently and as a part of a team.
- Smart Serve Certification
**Preferred**:
- Ability and willingness to work flexible hours including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
- Familiarity with Marriott GXP and point-of-sale (POS) systems.
- Capability to communicate in both English and French
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a passion for guest satisfaction
**Physical Requirements**:
- Ability to stand or walk for extended periods, up to 8 hours.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs regularly and push/pull equipment as needed.
- Requires grasping, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening, and visual acuity.
- Manual dexterity to operate bar and restaurant equipment efficiently.

**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:
**Guest Service & Operations**:
- Ensure an elevated guest experience by overseeing service quality, food presentation, and overall dining ambiance.
- Greet guests, assist with inquiries, and handle special requests or complaints professionally.
- Support the team in delivering seamless, efficient, and refined food and beverage service.
**Team Leadership & Training**:
- Assist F&B manager with scheduling according to business levels.
- Assist the F&B Manager with training, supervising, developing, disciplining, counselling, and evaluating line employees according to AC Hotels policies and procedures.
- Assist in training and mentoring F&B team members to uphold AC Hotels’ brand standards.
- Supervise staff performance during shifts, ensuring smooth operations and exceptional guest service.
- Foster a culture of teamwork, professionalism, and continuous improvement.
**Inventory Management**:
- Responsible for doing monthly bar/alcohol inventory.
- Responsible for plates and cutlery inventory when needed.
- Responsible for helping bartender/servers restock the bar and other areas of service that need restocking.
**Bar & Restaurant Oversight**:
- Oversee beverage preparation and service, ensuring consistency in craft cocktails, wines, and coffee offerings.
- Ensure compliance with alcohol service policies and local liquor laws.
- Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory control for food, beverages, and supplies.
**Event & Banquet Support**:
- Able to set-up and tear down function spaces according to the details provided on the BEO.
- Assist in coordinating and executing private events, meetings, and catering services.
- Work closely with the culinary team and event planners to ensure successful service execution.
**Safety and Compliance**:
- Adhere to all health, safety and sanitation regulations.
- Ensure compliance with Marriott corporate policies and service standards.
- Promote sustainability and waste reduction initiatives in food and beverage operations.
**Team Collaboration**:
- Practice the AC Brand Elevation mantras in your daily delivery approach with guests and AC family members.
- Work closely with the Food & Beverage Manager/Executive Chef and other departments to ensure operational efficiency.
