As a **Marketing Data Analyst**, you will use data analytics tools and techniques to identify trends, evaluate performance metrics and provide insights to help improve marketing strategies. In this role, you will report directly into the Senior Digital Marketing Manager and work closely with the digital marketing team to develop and execute campaigns that meet business objectives.

**What you will do in this role**:

- Gather, analyze, and interpret data to generate prescriptive insights, both tactical and strategic, to enhance marketing effectiveness.
- Track advertising costs, research consumer behavior, and explore market trends and opportunities.
- Analyze performance through the sales funnel and customer intent.
- Conduct competitive research and analyze benchmarking data.
- Create reports and visual presentations, communicating results and providing actionable recommendations.
- Ensure flawless data connections to GA4 (Google Analytics) for accurate reporting.
- Create and maintain a dashboard of performance that can be leveraged by the team.

**Your other responsibilities may include**
- Measure ROI for online and offline advertising campaigns.
- Report on marketing KPIs, including leads, conversion rates, website traffic, social media engagement, and additional metrics tailored to our business goals.
- Monitor budget distribution and actively optimize the performance of paid ad campaigns.
- Recommend website and campaign optimizations based on data analysis.
- Research and implement marketing tools to support our promotional projects, such as automation software and social media scheduling tools.
- Analytical mindset with a passion for data; ability to identify trends and patterns.
- Strong communication and presentation skills; capable of organizing and presenting influential insights.

**And your qualifications include**
- 1-2 years of experience as a Marketing Data Analyst.
- Digital Certification in Facebook Marketplace and Google Analytics, Adwords & Data Studio
- Diploma or BA in marketing, digital media, or a related field (an asset).
- Proven ability to interpret data and develop actionable insights.
- Experience with GA4 (Google Analytics), Adobe, SQL, and Python.
- Proficient in Excel, Tableau, or other BI tools.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Retail experience is an asset.
