We are currently recruiting for a **Continuous Improvement Leader** to work in our Global Headquarters located in Acton, ON, Canada.

**Job/Position Summary**:
Reporting to the President, the Continuous Improvement Leader is responsible for overseeing continuous improvement with productivity, manufacturing, engineering, ensuring that leadership and team members produce quality products on time and efficiently with year over year improvement. This individual is highly skilled at leading a manufacturing team to meet productivity goals and company strategies proactively including leveraging the latest technologies in glove manufacturing to strengthen our processes, manufacturing, and people and leading expansion. With this exciting new role, the job will continue to expand and grow over time.

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead organizational efforts to monitor and improve glove manufacturing processes. Identify and establish strategies, oversee implementation, and measure results for continuous improvement.
- Develop and implement glove knitting and glove dipping automation process designed to achieve quality and cost objectives., ex. automation of dip line, chemicut, venpak, labeling, heat stamping.
- Formulate plant designs and automate the glove dipline process to optimize daily operations, ensure productivity meets KPIs, enhance quality and safety standards, and support team goals.
- Enhance productivity efficiency by automation from concept to implementation, ensuring training materials and processes are documented and measurements established.
- Directly responsible for manufacturing continuous improvements to meet sales with +10% annualized growth with a long-term ROI plan. Develop plans, schedules, and budgets for projects to improve existing processes.
- Performance manage team members through daily training, coaching, workshops, and mentoring to drive a culture of continuous improvement. Ensure training, succession planning, cross training goals are created and met with key positions.
- Analyze and recommend improvements to support the team in ensuring equipment, materials, supplies, and tools are available and maintained including recommending alternatives.
- Participate in regulatory assessments and communicate the results of initiatives to senior leadership.
- Establish sourcing, recommend, and monitor the purchase and utilization of all manufacturing capital equipment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications & Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Business or Science, or equivalent education, and applied work experience in a manufacturing engineering environment.
- Formal education with manufacturing concepts - 5S, lean, JIT, Kaizen, ISO standards, etc.
- Lean manufacturing experience is required; Six Sigma Master certification would be considered an asset.
- Glove manufacturing experience required, including 7 years of progressive experience leading a team in a growing manufacturing non-unionized environment.
- Five years' experience in process optimization, operations, or business management.
- Operations and Project Management experience. New start-up practical hands-on experience would be considered an asset.
- Previous experience with glove knitting technology and glove dipping automation is a must.
- Textile or apparel manufacturing formal education would be an asset. Pr
