Firkin On Bay Street is recruiting additional talent to join our Front of House team.

What you will be doing:

- Working in a dedicated, all-hands-on-deck environment while contributing to a positive work environment
- Greeting guests promptly with a genuine interest to providing exceptional service throughout their visit
- Demonstrating thorough knowledge of menu items, mini menus, daily specials, beers on tap, bottled beers, wine and cocktails
- Providing guests with timely and efficient beverage and meal service
- Checking in with guests throughout their visit and ensuring their experience exceeded expectations
- Performing additional side duties and assisting other staff as needed
- Completing accurate daily cash outs
- Actively promoting each internal event and participating in promotions
- Actively participating in maintaining an immaculate establishment
- Attending company meetings and training seminars as required
- Be an outgoing, enthusiastic and positive attitude with the ability to lead and inspire others
- Possess great communication skills and the ability to clearly communicate ideas and thoughts quickly and effectively
- Be able to make and maintain direct eye contact when speaking or being spoken to
- Possess complete working knowledge of all products served
- Have a well-polished appearance
- Deliver a professional approach to guest service and colleague interactions
- Be able to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Uphold proper safety and sanitation habits at all times (smart serve certified)
- Have prior experience in a high-volume environment
- Have flexible availability to work all shifts between the hours of 10am-3am on week days, weekends and holidays
