Reporting directly to the Construction Manager and Project Superintendent, the Geotechnical Coordinator will efficiently manage the project documentation, submittals, reviews, and quality management processes. This will require extensive communication with the internal team members and external Consulting Engineers, Subtrades and Suppliers. The Geotechnical Coordinator is responsible for all aspects of geotechnical investigations from program design, field execution to data analysis, as well as the evaluation of geotechnical conditions for the design and construction of the project.
**Requirements**:
- Undergraduate degree in either Geotechnical, Geological or Civil Engineering, preferred;
- Civil Construction experience is considered an asset;
- Possess good technical writing skills;
- Strong planning and organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize;
- Ability to meet and adhere to deadlines and work under strict time constraints;
- Knowledge and use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe;
- Must be self-motivated and driven;
- Proficient in English (written and oral) with strong interpersonal and communication skills;
- Valid BC drivers license.
