**Responsibilities**:
Reporting to the Chef de Cuisine, responsibilities and essential job functions include, but are not limited to the following:

- Butchering whole animals or primal cuts
- Supply all the mise-en-place on a daily basis
- Help facilitate seasonal menus according to our Chef de Cuisine
- Assisting with all stations in the kitchens if/when needed
- Ensuring kitchen standards are met to the highest level
- Ensure a clean and sanitized workspace
- Ordering/receiving
- Inventory
- Process + canning + baking with the focus on fresh ingredients
- Work as a team with everyone involved
- Follow kitchen policies & procedures
- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

- Highly responsible & reliable
- Strong knowledge of food and preparation techniques
- High standard of cleanliness and organization required
- Flexible and able to work calmly under pressure/high volumes
- Ability to effectively manage one’s time
- Ability to take direction well from Chef de Cusine or Sous Chef
- Ability to work well as a team
- Good communication skills
- Must be available to work weekends, holidays, evenings

Must be legally permitted to work in Canada

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $16.00-$23.00 per hour
