Subcontracting Coordinator

**WHAT TO EXPECT**:
Reporting to the Logistics and VS Director, the incumbent's main mandate will be to plan and coordinate subcontracting needs in order to meet production requirements. He/she will work closely with the different teams to ensure that the requirements are met in terms of deadlines and quality.

Here's an overview of your tasks:

- Search for subcontractors according to the company's quality standards at the best possible price and within reasonable deadlines
- Sends requests for quotations to the various subcontractors involved in the bids in order to submit a proposal for the selection of suppliers using the RAO built
- Ensures the creation and modification of P.O. for subcontracting needs
- Performs internal and subcontractor follow-ups to ensure deliveries are made according to pre-established dates
- Carries out a quality follow-up with the various service providers in relation to the subcontracting;
- Ensures good communication with subcontractors in order to accelerate deadlines and ensure timely deliveries

**WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR**:

- DEC / BACC in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering or any other relevant training/experience
- Functional English is required
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
- Previous experience with a manufacturing system (ERP), knowledge of Syteline would be an asset
- Reading of blueprints
- Knowledge of machining and painting processes would be considered an asset
- Ability to work under pressure, as part of a team and within tight deadlines
- Be involved, respect his commitments and act with rigor and discipline
- Be organized, autonomous and have the ability to analyze, synthesize and take initiative
- Ability to manage different priorities
