We are currently seeking a qualified **CNC Lathe Machinist** for our machining team at Lincoln Laser.

Key Skills & Job Requirements:

- Must have a minimum of 3 years machining experience (Apprentices also welcome to apply)
- Experience running conventional and CNC lathes
- Programming experience with Master Cam and at the controller
- Read and interpret blueprints or welding process specifications and assembly drawings
- Ability to use various measuring tools such as Micrometers, Vernier Calipers and Dial Bore Gauges
- Mechanically inclined with an understanding of how to use hand tools and reading a measuring tape
- Ability to operate saws, drills, and machines to fabricate materials according to specs
- Ability to perform physical requirements of the job such as: standing, walking for extended periods of time, bending, and lifting heavy objects (a minimum of 50 lbs.)
- Familiarity with use of a forklift and overhead crane (we will also provide training on both)
- General Machinist Certificate is an asset
- Ability to train an apprentice machinist is an asset
- Keep machines and surrounding workspace clean while maintaining a safe organized work environment
