Markham, Canada The Harris Brand Full time

The Harris Brand is seeking part-time teachers/tutors to support our tutoring program dedicated to helping student athletes during after school hours.

Position Requirements:

- Must be available every Saturday from the month of June to August between the hours of 12pm-6pm and be able to commute to various recreation centres within Markham.
- Bachelor's degree & OCT Certified or;
- University students pursuing a B.Ed or;
- University student with extensive tutoring experience
- Experience/ability to tutor Grade 7-12 English, Math, and Science
- Ability to assist students of varying grades with homework in a group setting of up to 20 students either alone or alongside another tutor

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 2-10 per week

**Salary**: $18.00-$25.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Morning shift
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Markham, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Tutoring/Teaching: 1 year (required)
