Brant Form Teck Ltd is a custom metal fabrication facility, serving the mining, rail, and other off-road vehicle industries. Based in Woodstock Ontario, our satisfied customers are across North America.

Brant Form Teck Ltd. has a great opportunity for a hardworking and motivated **Production Supervisor**. You can contribute to the further success of the company by ensuring smooth operations throughout the production and distribution process to guarantee production timelines and high-quality standards.

**Your Duties and Responsibilities will include**:

- Planning and preparing production schedules, reports, material requirements etc according to customer orders
- Providing support, direction, and supervision to all staff under charge and address/resolve any staffing related issues or concerns
- Ensure timely, full and accurate communication with all relevant departments on any factors which impact delivery dates, commitments to customers, quality etc.
- Expediting operations that delay schedules and alter schedules to meet unforeseen conditions.
- Coordinating and leading weekly production meeting. Communicating with various departments on any potential production issues or needs
- Working collaboratively as part of the management team
- Working to optimize safety and efficiency in production through continual evaluation of processes.
- Responsible for recruitment, selection, training, performance reviews, progressive discipline and termination of staff.
- Providing hazard information, proper safety equipment and training to all workers as required by the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
- Ensuring conformance to inspection requirements and all quality management system processes
- Responsible for ensuring optimal functioning and maintenance of all departmental equipment.
- All other duties as assigned.
- Grade 12 education or equivalent experience
- Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in related area an asset
- 5+ year experience in metal fabrication/welding
- CWB Certified Weld Shop Supervisor Ticket would be an asset
- Valid First Aid/CPR Certificate
- Forklift certified (or capacity to operate a forklift).
- Previous experience in production planning an asset

**Other skills and abilities required**:

- Familiar with Microsoft Office Suite
- Organizational skills
- Detailed oriented
- Ability to use basic measuring devices (square, calipers, verniers, measuring tape)
- Ability to interpret and understand technical drawings
- Ability to communicate effectively with others, using interpersonal skills and diplomacy and can work with all levels of the organization
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Ability to meet objectives, prioritize and execute strategies in a timely manner

Job Type**:Full-time**

Salary**:$72,000 to $77,000**/ yr plus bonuses, depending on experience.
