**Roll summary: Construction Coordinator**

Under the instruction of the Project Manager, the Construction Coordinator will lead multi-person teams and sub trades while responsible for the successful completion of various restoration and reconstruction projects as a result of any type of property damage. They will work in conjunction with property owners, adjusters, insurance companies, and/or property management companies and ensures that projects are completed in a timely manner, on budget, and to the highest quality standards while bringing client properties back to their pre-disaster conditions.

**Positional Duties: Construction Coordinator**
- Upon approval of the repair estimate, initiate initial contact with the client. Perform initial site meeting to review project expectations and budgets.
- Prepare reports, upload, and submit to necessary parties, communication of project and ongoing details to project manager.
- Review construction plans for compliance with all applicable codes, regulations, and ordinances (plumbing, mechanical, electrical, structural, etc.) and/ or consult with engineers
- Co-ordinate in house construction personnel, sub trades, and suppliers throughout the entire project.
- Perform periodic site inspections of project prior to, during, and upon completion of repairs to determine compliance with approved estimate
- Maintain consistent communication with clients, insurance adjusters, property managers, policy holders, tenants, sub-contractors, etc.
- Assist in the resolution of change requests, unforeseen additional work, and other issues. Ensure proper documentation of all changes to original estimate are secured, specifically written and signed change orders
- Follow document file processes as set out by client service level agreements and in-house requirements
- Ensure compliance with Company Health & Safety policies, procedures, and reporting requirements
- Provide Project Management Team with weekly claim status reports for files and KPI updates for all clients and projects
- Maintain project budgets, billings, and receivables through to file close
- Assist in after hours dispatch of emergency crews and client communication
- Participate in on call rotation to facilitate claims outside of normal business hours

**Industry experience -**
- Property Damage Restoration experience and / or an in-depth knowledge of the insurance industry and processes (such as an adjuster, broker, or subtrade)
- Knowledge of the local Saskatoon market and surrounding area
- Ability to form and maintain key relationships with local tradespeople and industry contacts
- Market, Promote, and take part in company and industry marketing events and activities
- An understanding that this is not just a Monday to Friday job and that there will be circumstances that will require varying degrees of attention, oversight, and physically attending the project location outside of work hours to assist in the clients needs
