**Job Description**:
Reporting to senior management, the Payroll and benefits specialist is responsible for the following, but not limited to, responsibilities:

- Process full cycle of hourly paid and semi-monthly payroll
- WCB, WSIB, and EHT claim administration
- Prepare required journal entries to record payroll expenses
- Assist with the preparation of contracts as required
- Administer benefits (extended medical, dental and RRSP)
- Maintain vacation and sick day database

**Requirements**:

- Familiar with unionized employees’ compensation structure
- Experience in property construction is an asset
- Strong proficiency in MS Office Suite (MS Excel, MS Word, Outlook etc)
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Work independently and within a team setting
- Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Work Location: One location
