**THE ROLE - YOUR PASSION**

As the Station Manager at our very first station in Vancouver you will experience first hand the joys of setting-up the station from scratch - with the help of the Germany based headquarters of course. Your mission will be to manage all aspects of the station and spread the excitement for the outdoor camper lifestyle to our customers. You will aim to provide the best possible customer experience and guidance on their rental. We are looking for someone who is comfortable in a dynamic start-up environment, can work independently in getting the station up and running, act as the single point of contact towards the customer in addition to being incredibly hands-on and cleaning the vans.

Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Direct customer contact at the station
- Completing rental contract transactions
- Conducting demonstrations of the camper vans and vehicle hand-overs
- Providing the customers with a perfectly clean and functioning camper van
- Cleaning the interior and exterior of the camper vans and adding AdBlue as needed
- Consultation at the start of the trip thus assuring perfect experience with roadsurfer
- Answering incoming calls from the general public and walk-in customers
- Performing office & clerical duties and maintaining a well organized, tidy work space
- Management of the local fleet including damage documentation, repair, and the coordination of local service
- Active participation and regular exchange with the different station teams for continuous optimization of the station itself, processes and standards

**WHAT YOU NEED TO SURF THE WAVE WITH US**
- High School or equivalent diploma required
- Minimum of 2 years related work experience, preferably in rental business, hospitality or service-related experience
- Experience in management and recruitment is considered a plus
- Hands-on, adaptability, openness, listening & communication abilities, curiosity and a positive attitude
- Must be available to work Monday-Saturday weekly
- Must have a valid driver’s license (class C) to move vehicles on the lot when needed and a valid working permit for Canada

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, climb, stoop, kneel, walk, reach with hands and arms, use hands to handle, feel or type, and talk or hear. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 20 pounds; and occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
