Abbotsford Top Prospects Internship Program

Our Top Prospects interns will be assigned to a core department but will also have the opportunity to work closely with other departments. Internships are available in the following departments:
**Event Operations**
The Event Operations intern will support the Operations Department with planning and executing events at Abbotsford Centre. This position will support the Event Services Department with hockey, concerts, other arena events and administrative duties. This includes supporting event planning and execution of all Abbotsford Canucks home games, Live Entertainment, and other events. The Event Operations interns will be required to work game nights, concerts, and events as needed.
**Sales**
The Sales team is responsible for generating interest, qualifying prospects, and closing sales for our ticket products to meet the company’s client acquisition and revenue growth objectives. The Sales interns will be responsible for selling Abbotsford Canucks full and half season tickets and other ticket packs, as well as supporting Member renewals as needed. The Sales interns will be required to work game nights and weekends as needed.
**Ticket Operations**
The Ticket Operations Intern will assist with managing ticket inventory and optimizing ticket sales strategies to enhance revenue and attendance for the Abbotsford Canucks games and other events at the Abbotsford Centre. This role works closely with the Ticket Sales and Box Office teams to ensure smooth operation and effective ticket distribution. The Ticket Operations interns will be required to work game nights and weekends as needed.
**REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS**:
- Current university student in their final year of study or recent university graduate in a related field of study
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated professionalism in presentation, conduct, and reliability
- Strong work ethic and willing to go the extra mile
- Eager to learn and take on new tasks and responsibilities
- A strong understanding of and commitment to uphold our company values of discipline, respect, excellent, attitude, and mindset (DREAM)
- Ability and willingness to work evenings and weekends as required
- All internships are in-person at our offices at the Abbotsford Centre
