Main Responsibilities:
Detailed Job Description:

- Works with our Client's Leadership Team to understand their financial needs and secure their needed funding each year.
- Researches and performs data collection to identify potential grant opportunities for our Clients.
- Prepares and submits compelling grant proposals in the draft and final form with supporting documents to acquire funding and secure capital for our clients each year.
- Maintains a grants deadline calendar, and meets deadlines for submissions.
- Gathers information necessary to prepare interim and final project reports to funding sources
- Maintain an accurate database of records of current and prospective grant opportunities, as well as current grant awards to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
- Communicates regularly with leadership on the status of pending grant proposals.

Qualifications:

- 3-5 years of work experience as a Grant Writer for Canadian companies
- Great with MS Office Word and Excel and Proficient in using Project Management Tools
- Great organizational skills to track opportunities that arise throughout the year
- Proven ability to work independently, as well as in close coordination with a remote team in the EST time zone
- Excellent English writing skills to concisely and efficiently write persuasive grant proposals for formal submissions
- Skilled in working on multiple projects at a time under tight deadlines and in project management overall.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Freelance
Part-time hours: 20 per week

**Salary**: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
