Overview:
The Air Ground Communication systems specialist’s role is to perform the development, qualification, and performance analysis of the DATALINK Services (VHF, ATN)

**_ What you will do:_**
- Develop tools to support the validation of VHF Ground Systems, Radios and Avionics
- Perform Validation and Qualification of VHF Ground Systems, Avionics and ATN (Aeronautical Telecommunication Network) systems.
- Perform DataLink Services (VHF, VDL, ATN) performance analysis and improvement.
- Set up, operate and maintain the Avionics test bed to support Air-Ground standards and maintain a database of avionics qualification status.
- Provide technical expertise on avionics and ground equipment.
- Ensure adequate documentation is produced and maintained, in line with internal processes and practices, for Testing, Validation, Qualification, Acceptance and Certification
- Prepare and support the installation and the deployment of new releases.

Qualifications:
**_ Who you are:_**
- Good knowledge of avionics and radio communication and messaging protocols: VDL, RF/VHF and ATN
- Good knowledge of Ground communication systems such as RF/VHF radios and ATN
- Good knowledge of TCP/IP, SNMP protocols and Wireshark trace analysis
- M.Sc or B.Sc. in Electric/Telecom/Computer Engineering
- Knowledge of test automation using tools and/or scripting language (Python, Bash, Linux, etc.)
- Experience in Radios and avionics installations and testing
- Ability to take relevant initiative to resolve assigned issues efficiently.
- Good English and French communications skills (oral and written) are essential.
- Excellent knowledge of software engineering practices and standards
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing business environments.
- Good inter-personal skills with teamwork ability
- Organized, pragmatic and autonomous.
