The Communications Intern will be a pivotal member of the team helping on real-world projects and learning the role of a communications specialist. This will include work on social and traditional media relations, internal communications, reporting, content development, event planning, and other areas as needed. Specifics include, but are not limited to:
**MEDIA**:Coordinate information sharing to ensure media activities are communicated, including updating multi-department spreadsheets and working with the communications team to organize materials
**Press Release Execution (Workfront): W**ork with the communications team to finalize press releases and work with marketing and PR Newswire to post press releases as needed. Assist with Media Coordination and media list development. Monitoring Media Inbox. Participate in Vendor assessment and proposal to the team on innovative solutions to better the efficiency of the team
**SYNERGY**: Participate in communications working team to assist on SYNERGY, TR’s biggest customer event. Work will include internal comms support, content planning, and execution, information sharing and coordination, and liaising with marketing on key deliverables.
**Social Media**:Assist social media manager in content development and posting, as needed. Work with both internal and external communications teams to identify content to be utilized on social media.

**Content**:Assist in developing a content repository. Support with copy-checking and consistency. Assist with the project to internationalize content. Assist in developing content for internal channels (primarily Viva Engage)
**Reporting**: Assist with Media Monitoring - Work with Cision and Brandwatch to monitor media and pull metrics to assist the PR team in weekly/Monthly monitoring. Assist with monthly reporting presentations sent to executives
**Town Halls**: Assist internal comms directors in delivering town halls/All Hands, specifically related to, generating survey sentiment analysis, and content gathering
